The concept behind the shop is to provide every customer their freedom of listening to their favourite tunes on their device, be it an iPod or a mobile phone. And also to promote designers work and concept in the shop, selling goods for a certain fee for up-coming and new designers. The shop also provides services like stationary for each table.
As people are more concerned about design and lifestyle now, it is equally important that we have a good concept cafe and to promote designs in a way that everyone can enjoy and have fun in. There are many cafe out there mainly as cafe, they want people to go in and sit there and have talks. Of course, it's a common practise for people every age.
But it's different if you have time and you are bored when you're outside and don't know how to spend time relaxing and have fun. Therefore, this concept strucked me as we design students sometimes have trouble thinking of ideas and when we flip magazines or look through websites, we are still unable to get any ideas into our head. And by displaying some other people's work and also giving them a private place to observe and to relax in the cafe, they are able to think and draw or write immediately when they have any ideas. (Therefore, providing stationary.)
How are you going to realize it? (Brand strategy)
We can publicise it on the internet, advertise and also by word of mouth. It is essential that the brand must of course, provide quality goods and also good designs. It must be equally useful and fun so that people will buy the product.
How is it different from existing / similar products/ services?
Many cafe only provides drinks and desserts. The shop usually are decorated very cozily and warm. It attracts people, but it does not provide other services, like privacy and also helps publicise works.
How are you going to communicate this brand?
We can promote in a way that every customers get to get a freebie for their first visit. And also we can take pictures and let them design their pictures and be printed out to hang it on the counter. The customers are free to come anytime and ask to take dow the picture and to put a new one instead.
